Version 1.0 · Effective 1 September 2026
Effective date: 1 September 2026
Version: 1.0
This Cookie Policy forms part of our Privacy Policy and explains how Bliink Private Limited and PT Bliink Global Travel ("Bliink", "we", "us") use cookies and similar technologies on bliink.id and bliink.sg and on the Bliink platform and applications (together, the "Website").
1.1 A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a website to recognise your device, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.
1.2 We also use technologies that work in a similar way, and we refer to all of them in this Policy as "cookies":
| Technology | What it does |
|---|---|
| HTTP cookies | Small text files stored by your browser |
| Local storage / session storage | Data stored in your browser, often larger and longer-lived than a cookie |
| Pixels and web beacons | Tiny transparent images in a page or email that record that it was opened or viewed |
| Software development kits (SDKs) | Code inside our mobile apps that performs similar functions |
| Device and advertising identifiers | Identifiers provided by a mobile operating system |
| Server-side logs and fingerprinting signals | Information sent by your browser, such as IP address, user-agent and language |
1.3 First-party cookies are set by Bliink. Third-party cookies are set by another organisation whose service we use on the Website, such as an analytics or advertising provider. Third parties set cookies under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
2.1 Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser.
2.2 Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or until you delete them. The retention period for each cookie is shown in our cookie preference centre.
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent — the Website cannot function without them. We set them on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering a secure, working service.
3.2 All other categories — functional, analytics, advertising and social media cookies — are set only where you have given consent through our cookie banner or preference centre.
3.3 Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012, where a cookie collects personal data we rely on your consent, or on deemed consent where you have been notified and have not opted out, as applicable. Under Indonesia's Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, we rely on your explicit consent under Article 20(2)(a) for all non-essential cookies. Pre-ticked boxes are not used, and consent is not bundled with acceptance of any other terms.
4.1 Our cookie banner. When you first visit the Website you will see a banner allowing you to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category.
4.2 Our preference centre. You can change your choices at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the Website footer, or the cookie icon at the lower-left of any page. Your choice is recorded in a consent cookie and re-confirmed every 12 months.
4.3 Withdrawing consent. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it — use the preference centre. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew.
4.4 Your browser. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings:
| Browser | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Google Chrome | Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies |
| Apple Safari | Settings → Privacy |
| Microsoft Edge | Settings → Cookies and site permissions |
| Mozilla Firefox | Settings → Privacy & Security |
| Mobile (iOS) | Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking |
| Mobile (Android) | Settings → Google → Ads |
4.5 Effect of blocking. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the Website will not work — you will not be able to sign in, hold a booking, or complete a payment. Blocking functional cookies means we cannot remember your preferences. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect functionality.
4.6 Clearing your browser. If you clear your browsing data, our record of your cookie choice is deleted and you will be asked again on your next visit.
4.7 "Do not track." There is no uniform industry standard for how websites should respond to browser "do not track" signals. We do not currently respond to them. Use our preference centre instead.
4.8 Opting out of third-party advertising. You may also opt out through industry mechanisms such as youronlinechoices.com, optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org, and through your Google and Meta ad settings.
5.1 The itemised, always-current list of every cookie in use on this Website — its name, provider, purpose and duration — is available in our cookie preference centre, reachable from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page. Because that list is generated from the Website itself, it is accurate at the moment you read it. The categories below explain what each group of cookies does and what happens if you decline it.
5.3 Strictly necessary cookies
Always active. You cannot switch these off.
These cookies are required for the Website and Platform to work. They keep you signed in, maintain your session, protect against cross-site request forgery, route your request to the correct server, secure the payment flow, distinguish human visitors from automated traffic, remember your language selection, and record your cookie preferences so that we do not ask you again on every page.
If you block them, you will not be able to sign in, hold a booking, or complete a payment.
5.4 Functional cookies
Set only with your consent.
These remember choices you have made so the Website behaves the way you left it — your layout, currency and display preferences, your recent travel searches, your support-chat history, and playback settings for any embedded media.
If you decline them, the Website still works, but it will not remember your preferences between visits.
5.5 Analytics and performance cookies
Set only with your consent.
These help us understand how the Website and Platform are used so that we can improve them: which pages and features are visited, how long sessions last, where users encounter errors or friction, and how the service performs. The data is used in aggregate.
Some analytics tools record interaction data such as mouse movement, clicks and scrolling. Where such a tool is used, we configure it to mask all form fields, payment details, travel document fields and free-text message content by default.
If you decline them, nothing about the Website's functionality changes.
5.6 Advertising and targeting cookies
Set only with your consent.
These allow us and our advertising partners to measure the performance of our marketing and to show Bliink advertising to you on other websites and platforms. They may be used to build a profile of your interests. Several of these providers are established outside Singapore and Indonesia, and the data they collect is transferred to and processed in those countries — see clause 8.
If you decline them, you will still see advertising, but it will not be based on your activity on our Website.
5.6 Social media cookies
Set only with your consent.
These enable embedded social media content and sharing features. They are set by the relevant platform under its own privacy policy.
If you decline them, embedded social content may not display.
6.1 Our mobile applications do not use browser cookies but use SDKs and device identifiers that perform equivalent functions — authentication, crash reporting, analytics and, where you consent, advertising attribution.
6.2 You can control app tracking through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads), and through the in-app privacy settings.
7.1 Our marketing emails contain a small pixel that tells us whether the email was opened and which links were clicked. This helps us measure whether our communications are useful.
7.2 You can prevent this by setting your email client to block remote images, or by unsubscribing from marketing emails.
8.1 Several of the providers listed above are established outside Singapore and Indonesia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where a cookie causes personal data to be transferred outside those countries, we apply the safeguards described at clause 8 of our Privacy Policy.
9.1 We update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove or change the technologies we use. The effective date at the head of this Policy shows the last change. Where a change requires fresh consent, we will re-present the cookie banner.
